What is an extended warranty?

Most vehicles come with a standard manufacturer warranty plan but you are not limited to these manufacture or dealership warranties. We may be able to provide you with a new vehicle warranty either before or after your original warranty has ran its course. The plans can vary depending on what type of coverage you want and what type of budget you have.

What is my VIN number, and where would I find it?

VIN stands for Vehicle Identification Number. VIN's usually contain 17 characters. (Ex. WBDAC45XEKA496845)  The following are common places where you can locate your vehicle’s identification number.  Most VIN numbers can be found on the top of the driver’s side dashboard.  You might also find the VIN number inside on the driver’s side door or on the front of the engine, under the hood.  If it is not located in any of these three areas check your owner’s manual.

What is my odometer and where would I find it?

Your odometer is an instrument measuring the distance that your automobile has traveled. Your odometer lets you know how many miles are currently on your vehicle. For example, your odometer can read 50,125 miles. Odometers are typically located directly below the speedometer. For certain vehicles that utilize digital display you may have to turn on your car to get your odometer reading.

I have a used/pre-owned vehicle, will Nationwide Auto Warranty provide me with coverage?

Yes, there is a good possibility that we will be able to get your used/pre-owned vehicle coverage through one of our plans. Contact one of our representative’s toll free at 1.877.291.5777. We will be happy to discuss if a policy from Nationwide Auto Warranty can cover your used/pre-owned vehicle.

Does Nationwide Auto Warranty guarantee coverage on my vehicle?

Nationwide Auto Warranty provides coverage for most vehicles.  You can submit a request for your vehicle coverage on our website and a Nationwide Auto Warranty representative will review your document.
